Deep in the forests of Northern Italy, the precious white Alba truffle resides. It remains a rare and mysterious food with a pungent aroma that the world's wealthiest customers crave to taste. Even the most resourceful modern diggers cannot cultivate or discover it. The only ones who know how to unearth truffles on Earth are a small circle of skilled dogs and their silver-haired human companions—elderly Italians with devilish sense of humor, who only search for truffles at night to avoid leaving any traces for others.
