In November 2001, in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. A team of U.S. special forces meets with CIA agent Benjamin Kaynes (played by Jonas Ball) to search for a man named Mohammed Aban. Guided by a local informant, Abul (played by Chems-Eddine Zinoune), they head to the mountains where Mohammed is said to be hiding. Terrifying legends surround the area; over half a century ago, a British force of over ten thousand men mysteriously vanished here. From the moment the special forces team steps into this unfamiliar territory, bizarre and horrific events begin to unfold. Team members start to disappear one after another, as if they have entered a one-way road leading to a dark world… The film won the Best Cinematography Award at the 2008 New York Horror Film Festival Audience Awards and the Best Cinematography Award at the 2008 Santa Fe Film Festival Milagro Awards.
