In the early 1930s, Japanese imperialism invaded our country's three northeastern provinces. On a cold winter day, the Japanese soldiers, led by the traitorous landlord Gao Shijia, violently slaughtered the residents of Huangqitun. To avenge his country and his family, hunter Guan Yuntian rose up and, along with his companions, established the Bandit Army, vowing to fight against the Japanese invaders and traitors to the end! Gao Shijia’s son, Gao Yuchen, had long been coveting Guan Yuntian’s fiancée, Er Lanzhi. After Guan Yuntian went into the mountains, Gao Yuchen seized the opportunity to harass Er Lanzhi endlessly. One day, with the intention of luring Gao Yuchen into the deep mountains, Er Lanzhi was captured by Guan Yuntian's ambushers and taken hostage to demand food, horses, and weapons from the Gao family. To save his son's life, Gao Shijia had no choice but to agree to the demands. From then on, Guan Yuntian was honored by the people as "The Hero of the Northeast," shaking the region with his renown. One night, Guan Yuntian entered Jishun Zhan alone to visit Er Lanzhi, who was mourning her father's death, but unfortunately, he was caught by Gao Yuchen and subjected to severe torture by the Japanese. In a moment of danger, Guan Yuntian fought fiercely to seize a knife and escaped the Gao family's estate with Er Lanzhi. Along the way, he was hit by pursuing soldiers, and the horse carried him deep into the mountains. Er Lanzhi stumbled back home, only to run into Gao Yuchen. Seeing the bullet-riddled coat of Guan Yuntian in his hands, Er Lanzhi felt hopeless. For the sake of the child of the Guan family in her womb, she reluctantly married Gao Yuchen after enduring humiliation. In fact, Guan Yuntian was not dead; he was rescued by the Green Forest hero, Guo Jianglong, in the Mangdang Mountains. After recovering from his injuries, Guan Yuntian also brought the Bandit Army to Mangdang Mountain. During the Lantern Festival, the Japanese surrounded Mangdang Mountain. Guo Jianglong, heavily injured after breaking through the encirclement, entrusted the entire team to Guan Yuntian and chose to become a monk. Guan Yuntian paid a great price to break out of the encirclement but was intercepted by the bandit leader Fu Dianchen. At a deadly banquet filled with tension, Fu Dianchen was moved by Guan Yuntian's fearless national spirit and formed a deep bond with him, resolutely raising the flag to join the anti-Japanese ranks, preparing to attack Qingstone Town with Guan Yuntian and the united guerrilla forces and the Dadao Society. Hearing that Gao Yuchen had captured the injured Guo Jianglong, Guan Yuntian rushed to rescue him, shooting Gao down, but Guo Jianglong was tragically murdered. To avenge Guo Jianglong, Guan Yuntian disregarded advice and the previously agreed battle plan, leading his troops alone into Jiyang Town, where he was surrounded by heavily armed Gao family forces, resulting in heavy losses for the Bandit Army. Er Lanzhi also died from gunfire while trying to save Guan Yuntian. Fortunately, Fu Dianchen arrived in time to prevent the complete destruction of the Bandit Army. Guan Yuntian buried Guo Jianglong, Er Lanzhi, and his fallen brothers one by one, firing a gun to honor their spirits. Faced with the vast snowy plains, Guan Yuntian felt lost...
