David Williams (played by Rupert Evans), a film curator at the National Film Archive, moved into an old house with his beautiful wife Alice (played by Hannah Hoekstra) five years ago. Their life was as plain as water, and the couple welcomed a lovely son, Billy (Calum Heath). One day, while David was documenting a police film, he accidentally discovered that a horrific murder of a wife had occurred in their house in 1902. From that point on, he was plagued by nightmares and hallucinations regarding the murder case, while his control over his wife and jealousy towards other men grew day by day. Until one day, Alice suddenly disappears from David's life, and the bloody events from a century ago seem to resurface. David becomes a key suspect, and he suspects that the evil spirit of the murderer from that time is hovering over the family...
