Living in the United States, Sarah Puls (played by Natalie Dormer) has recently been in a state of unrest. She has a twin sister, Jessie (also played by Natalie Dormer), who is teaching abroad in Japan. However, Jessie suddenly goes missing, and Sarah asks the Yamanashi police for help in searching for her. The conclusion they reach is that Jessie may have entered the Aokigahara Forest, known as a "suicide spot," to take her own life. Sarah absolutely disagrees with the police's speculation. Ignoring her boyfriend's objections, she embarks on a journey to Japan alone. She first arrives at her sister's school, and after an unsuccessful investigation, boards a train to Aokigahara Forest. Others' warnings cannot stop Sarah as she walks deeper into the forest. During this process, terrifying and bizarre experiences unfold…
