Since becoming a member of the Justice League, Barry (Ezra Miller) has been a busy superhero day and night. However, despite his extraordinary abilities to save the world, he remains powerless against his destined fate. With his father's murder case (Ron Livingston) approaching retrial and crucial evidence failing to substantiate his claims, Barry, having briefly traveled faster than light during a battle against the Speed Demon, ignores Batman's (Michael Keaton) warnings and travels back to the day his mother was killed. He believed that small actions could save her, but unexpectedly, this twist caused a butterfly effect in the universe. When Barry returns to the eve of becoming the Flash, he finds his parents living happily, while super warriors like Aquaman, Cyborg, and Diana seem to be absent from this era. Worse still, General Zod (Michael Shannon), who is hunting Superman, arrives on Earth, ready to destroy the world without any obstacles...
