This disaster film is set against the backdrop of modern Japan, depicting the sudden engulfing of Tokyo by an inexplicable thick fog, making the entire metropolis seem to vanish in an instant. Governments and researchers across the country are shocked and quickly organize to study countermeasures. However, people are unable to traverse the fog to enter the Tokyo metropolitan area. This fog has created an impenetrable electromagnetic barrier. Scientists outside the barrier find inspiration from a severely damaged military reconnaissance aircraft, and by utilizing an impending typhoon and thunderstorm along with high-power electromagnetic jamming equipment, they finally resolve this dramatic supernatural crisis. This was originally supposed to be a good concept full of dramatic tension, but the resulting film fails to impress. The character of the female reporter lacks emotional resonance, and her tumultuous relationship with the male reporter feels inexplicable, leaving the audience with a sense of confusion akin to a fog.
