Eighteen-year-old Caden Richard (played by Lucas Till) was an ordinary high school student, a star player on the school football team, academically gifted, and had a beautiful girlfriend; he once seemed like the life winner living in a dream. Until one day, everything changed: Caden's grades dropped, and he got into a fight with a rival team player. Subsequently, in a state of chaos, he bit his girlfriend and, while unconscious, killed his parents. Caden finally discovers he has the ability to transform into a werewolf. To evade the police, he lacks the courage to commit suicide and can only flee. After several hardships, he arrives at a small town inhabited by werewolves and finds a way to make a living with the help of an elder named John (played by Stephen McHattie). The terrifying werewolf Connor (played by Jason Momoa) rules the town, and Caden's unintentional arrival disrupts the precarious balance between werewolves and humans...
