Eloise (played by Thomasin McKenzie) is a pure-hearted and kind country girl who dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Through her hard work, she gains admission to an art school in London. Filled with hope for the future and dreams, she bids farewell to her grandmother in her hometown and sets off on her journey alone. Upon arriving in London, everything seems so new and fashionable to Eloise, but at the same time, the complex relationships and heavy coursework put immense pressure on her. Struggling to adapt to dorm life, Eloise rents an old but cozy studio apartment. Little did she know that on her first night there, she would drift between dreams and reality, traveling back to the 1960s, where she encounters a woman named Sandy (played by Anya Taylor-Joy). Through Sandy's eyes, Eloise witnesses her tragic descent from a talented woman to a prostitute, ultimately leading to her murder.
