Young Frenchman Chris (played by Fabian Wolfrom) experiences a fateful night at the age of 11 when Halley's Comet approaches Earth. Seemingly sensing something ominous, his parents die tragically that night. Years later, as Halley's Comet approaches again, the world watches with great anticipation, and various scientific and mystical speculations abound.
