In a picturesque seaside town near Rhode Island, known for its pleasant climate, visitors flock to vacation. However, a hidden secret seems to lurk in this town. Tourists and temporary residents initially receive warm hospitality, but soon after, they are brutally murdered. Even more terrifying, these deceased individuals later return to the island, welcoming guests with the guise of hosts. The local official, Dan Giles (played by James Farentino), suffers the loss of his wife, Jenny (played by Melody Anderson), in this series of strange events, and he is determined to uncover the truth. He soon notices that amidst the atmosphere of dread, only the funeral director, William (played by Jack Albertson), appears to be quite pleased. Is there a connection between William and the strange happenings? What is the truth behind it all?
