Pearson (Kevin Nealon) takes his family to a villa in the countryside to vacation with his brother's family. A seemingly ordinary meteor shower causes four aliens with high-tech devices that can control human thoughts to crash in the villa's attic. They initially infiltrate the family by controlling Bethany's (Ashley Tisdale) boyfriend Ricky (Robert Hoffman), but are quickly noticed by the perceptive children of the Pearson family. Although the adults don't believe the kids' claims, the children gradually realize the significant potential crisis posed by the four aliens in their attic and quietly come together to start a battle to defend humanity. The aliens, reluctant to back down, use their thought-control device to turn the adults against the children in response to the kids' unique little weapons. However, among the four aliens is an exception: technician Sparks, who is reluctant to fight and fortuitously becomes friends with Hannah, begins to help the Pearson family. Can the children turn this human crisis into a victory against the powerful alien invasion?
