This film is adapted from Wells' novel. It tells the story of a scientist conducting hybrid experiments between humans and animals on an island, attempting to create a great superman. However, repeated failures result in horrific consequences: a large number of deformed humans. They are subjected to enslavement and abuse. A shipwreck leads a group of British people to this small island, where the scientist attempts to breed a leopard-woman with a guest. In the end, the deformed humans rebel and overthrow the evil scientist.
