In the crime-ridden city of Chicago, Paul was originally a gentle and kind-hearted doctor with a happy family. A sudden stroke of misfortune led to his wife and daughter being brutally attacked by criminals, leaving his daughter in a coma and his beloved wife dead, tearing them apart forever.
