On New Year's midnight, Jeff (played by Dylan McTee) and Lindsay (played by Alex Essoe) are driving along a dark road. Lost in their romantic conversation, they fail to pay attention to the road ahead and end up colliding violently with a stranger. They take the injured person in their car, planning to rush him to the nearest hospital, but the man dies on the way. After some internal struggle, they decide to take the corpse back home. Jeff realizes he left the car's license plate at the scene, so he drives back, leaving his wife alone at home. Just then, Lindsay's sister Hannah (played by Perla Haney-Jardine) returns home, and the man who was supposed to be dead suddenly comes back to life and attacks Hannah. In the ensuing chaos, Hannah shoots and kills him. As things become increasingly complicated, Jeff tries to uncover the man's identity, only to discover...
