Qi Qi (played by Mai Jia Qi) and her friend Da Bo Mei are temporary actresses. They find a cheap room to rent, but the landlord, Aunt Lan (played by Roland), behaves strangely. After moving in, Da Bo Mei often discovers many odd things in the house, but Qi Qi, a devout believer, does not believe in ghosts.
Da Bo Mei, terrified, seeks help from fortune teller Zhou Tong, only to be scammed. Unusual incidents continue to occur, and even Zhou Tong dies unexpectedly. Later, Da Bo Mei and her friend A Ze (played by Du Wan Ze) learn that the film set driver, A Zhao (played by Yin Tian Zhao), knows a thing or two about the Mao Shan technique. When A Zhao arrives at Aunt Lan's house, he immediately senses something is wrong and advises Qi Qi and her friend to leave quickly.
