Three years after the heist in Las Vegas, the comfortable life of Danny (George Clooney) and Tess (Julia Roberts) is abruptly interrupted when casino mogul Benedict (Andy Garcia) suddenly tracks down Danny and his ten accomplices, demanding they repay the $160 million he lost to them in two weeks. Ross (Brad Pitt), Linus (Matt Damon), and the others gather, but unable to repay, they decide to commit crimes in Europe.
