As another Qingming Festival approaches, the beautiful girl Yang Jie (played by Huo Siyan), who grew up in an orphanage and has a flamboyant and domineering personality, receives a letter. The letter states that the sender, who she hasn't seen in a long time, invites her back for a visit and includes a train ticket to "Qingming Station." Upon returning to the orphanage, Yang Jie discovers that the sender is not the director who took care of her in the past. To uncover the truth, she decides to board the mysterious train. The train is eerie and grim, with a somber atmosphere, and the conductor (played by Wang Shuangbao) has an inscrutable expression, seemingly hiding something. Meanwhile, a madwoman (played by Hui Yinghong) cooking in the dining car mistakes Yang Jie for her own daughter, which frightens her greatly.
