At the Japanese Embassy in a South American country, the Ambassador, Chiyo Daitake (played by Kōshirō Matsumoto), is known for his cold and strict demeanor and extravagant lifestyle. He exploits his position for personal gain, leading to widespread discontent among the local populace. As the Foreign Minister's important visit approaches, councilor Ken Kawakita (played by Mitsuhiro Oikawa) is unwilling to get embroiled in the corruption and prepares to hold a media briefing to expose the ambassador's crimes, which ultimately puts his life in danger. Meanwhile, Nemuro Furuhata (played by Masakazu Tamura), vacationing in South America, is forced to stay longer when a monkey steals his passport, but luckily encounters the ever-present Hanada (played by Tomohito Yashima) who provides him with temporary shelter. Soon after, a ransom letter kidnapping Kawakita arrives, but this suspicious letter quickly raises Furuhata's doubts... This film is the fifth installment in the "Brain of the Dead" series.
