A boy named Tony (Jonathan Lipnicki) moves with his parents to a remote village in Scotland. Ever since settling there, Tony has been dreaming about vampires every night. This peculiar dream quickly ignites his obsession with vampires, and he seeks to find a way to become one using all the information he can gather. Tony's odd hobby makes him a target of ridicule among his classmates, and his teachers are quite worried about this child who talks mysteriously all the time. One night, a giant bat visits Tony's bedroom and transforms into a human before him. His name is Rudolph (Rollo Weeks), and he can't take flight again due to exhaustion. At that moment, vampire hunter Buckley (Jim Carter) happens to be on a mission to hunt vampires. In this critical moment, Tony steps up to save Rudolph.
