Until one night, a murder occurs, completely shattering the serenity of the area. The local police officer, Jong-kyu (played by Go Do-won), quickly rushes to the scene with his colleagues to investigate. He initially suspects that this is a case of a malicious murder, but the locals privately speculate that the Japanese man (played by Kuranosuke Sasaki), who appeared in the forest by the village, is the prime suspect. This Japanese man may possess some kind of witchcraft, cursing people to death through sinister means. After this, a series of bizarre and interconnected deaths start to occur, putting Jong-kyu's daughter in danger as well. Desperate, Jong-kyu seeks the help of a shaman (played by Hwang Jung-min) to lift the terrible curse hanging over the villagers and his daughter…
