Yizhu (played by Julie Condra) accidentally witnesses the scene of gang heir Izumi Sakaguchi (played by Masaya Kato) being killed, and surprisingly, the assassin sheds tears during the execution of the task. It turns out that there are cruel rules in the assassin industry, where the killer often becomes the next target after killing someone. In order to take revenge, Izumi's father rushes from Japan, only to find out that the assassin is affiliated with a Chinese secret organization called the Dragon's Children. He plans to use Yizhu as bait to lure out the assassin, but unexpectedly, he himself is killed first, leading to a power struggle among the three major gangs for the position of the boss, and only by finding and killing this assassin can one have the right to ascend to the throne. The assassin ultimately receives the task to kill Yizhu, however, the two are moved by each other upon meeting, sparking a forbidden romance. Yet, their love faces dual threats from the Japanese underworld and the Chinese secret organization, as they not only confront the threat of death but also seek opportunities for survival in desperate situations. This story is filled with tense plotlines and profound inner struggles of the characters, showcasing the unpredictable intertwining of love and fate.
