Approaching thirty, Fara (played by Emmanuel Schotté) is a police officer who still lives with his mother. He has an unusually pure and sensitive heart, and in his heart lives a girl named Domino (played by Séverine Caneele). However, this girl is the girlfriend of his best friend, which makes Fara feel both tormented and frustrated. In fact, Domino also has feelings for the honest and reliable Fara, but she cannot break away from the physical pleasure her boyfriend brings her. In her guilt, she can only send out silent cries for help to Fara from the corner of her eye. A case of the rape and murder of a young girl causes an uproar in Fara's small town, and the responsibility of finding the true culprit falls on Fara's shoulders. With anger towards the murderer and compassion for the victim, Fara vows to uncover the truth. In the process of chasing down the killer, Fara experiences the unique beauty and ugliness of human nature.
