Julie (Dominique Labourier) is a librarian, and her close friend Celine (Juliet Berto) is a magician. The bond between these two girls is incredibly intimate; for a long time, they have shared everything they have, even their boyfriends. One day, Julie and Celine accidentally consume a magical candy and are transported to a bizarre alternate world. There, both fall in love with a man named Oliver (Barbet Schroeder). Oliver lost his wife years ago and has only a seriously ill daughter by his side. He once vowed that he would never marry another woman until his daughter is healed. Thus, Julie and Celine begin to think of ways to save the little girl.
