"Batman: The Long Halloween" is inspired by the iconic DC story created by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale in the mid-1990s. The "Part One" begins with a brutal murder on Halloween, prompting Gotham's young vigilante Batman to team up with the city's only two honest law enforcement officers (Police Chief James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent) to take down the notorious Falcone crime family's head, Carmine Falcone. However, as more deaths occur on Thanksgiving and Christmas, it becomes clear that they are facing not just ordinary gang violence, but a serial killer. With every conflicting clue, their identity becomes increasingly difficult to discern. Few cases test the detective skills of the world's greatest detective like the mystery behind the Holiday Killer.
