At a small village middle school, a teacher with a strong interest in archaeology, Takafumi Habuki (played by Naoto Takenaka), and his student Reiko Tsukishima (played by Megumi Ueno) go missing while conducting research. The school is soon filled with fear and various rumors begin to circulate. The eccentric archaeologist Reijiro Hieda (played by Kenji Sawada) is invited by Professor Habuki to the school, where he inadvertently saves Habuki's son Masao (played by Masaki Kudo).
