The school is soon filled with fear and various rumors begin to circulate. The eccentric archaeologist Reijiro Hieda (played by Kenji Sawada) is invited by Professor Habuki to the school, where he inadvertently saves Habuki's son Masao (played by Masaki Kudo). Masao is worried about his father's safety and is also concerned about his crush, Reiko. Hieda uses his invented yokai detector to investigate the school at night with Masao and discovers that Professor Habuki accidentally released the yokai Biruko while examining an ancient tomb. Biruko is said to be the child of the deities Izanagi and Izanami from the "Kojiki." Her resurrection brings chaos and bloodshed to the once peaceful school… This film is adapted from Daijiro Morohoshi's manga "Yokai Hunter."
