The beautiful girl Casey (Odette Yustman) is facing torment as she often sees a boy with a ghostly face staring at her with hatred. She seeks help from friends and doctors, but none are effective. However, she learns from an eye doctor that she might have a twin brother/sister. This is later confirmed by her father. Casey finds clues by rummaging through her mother's belongings and visits Sophie (Jane Alexander), a Holocaust survivor living in a nursing home. Sophie recounts the brutal experiments the Nazis conducted on twins in concentration camps, which are all tied to Casey's experiences. As the investigation deepens, Casey gets closer to the truth...
