There is a tragic and terrifying legend circulating at Maki Town Elementary School. Twenty years ago, a boy named Daishi, who was frail and sickly, was unable to participate in the school's sports day, and after his death, his spirit took residence in a mirror. It is said that during subsequent sports days, if a student accidentally falls, they may be taken away by Daishi. After this year’s sports day, the boxing enthusiast teacher, Ahihashi (played by Naomi Nishida), accidentally discovers Daishi’s mirror in the storage room and unknowingly moves it to her office. This is witnessed by girls Ranko (played by Aki Maeda) and Akane (played by Shiori Yonezawa). Coincidentally, during the sports day, Ranko and Ryo (played by Takuma Yoshizawa) unexpectedly fall. To prevent Daishi from causing trouble, Ranko, Akane, Ryo, and the chubby boy Makoto (played by Kazunari Yamada) plan a nighttime infiltration of the school. They will experience an unprecedented magical adventure… This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Tohru Sugimori.
