After the battle with Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) in 1989, the Losers' Club friends grew up. They had promised each other that when darkness returned, they would reunite in Derry to make a final stand against Pennywise. However, when the news of Pennywise's return arrives, the Losers' Club friends face unprecedented inner turmoil.
