He (Ewan Gordon McGregor) is a ghostwriter, aptly nicknamed "Ghost," who operates deeply in the shadows, writing memoirs for celebrities across various fields. One day, Ghost receives a new task to help former British Prime Minister Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan) polish his memoir. Previously, the book was handled by Lang's assistant, Mike McAra, who mysteriously committed suicide. Enticed by a handsome reward, Ghost accepts the job. As he works on the book, Lang is accused of war crimes, with a political storm looming. Meanwhile, Ghost begins to probe into Lang's secret past and the circumstances surrounding McAra's death, unaware that this investigation will lead him into peril... This film is adapted from Robert Harris's novel "The Ghost" and won the Best Director Silver Bear at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
