Rémy (Maleaume Paquin) lost his parents at a young age and became an orphan. At the age of 10, his greedy adoptive father sold him to street performer Vitalis (Daniel Auteuil) for a little profit. Thus, young Rémy began his wandering performance career with Vitalis and his circus. Fortunately, Vitalis is a kind man who feels deep sympathy for Rémy's unfortunate situation. He not only provides him with food, clothing, and shelter but also teaches him to read and write. By chance, Vitalis discovers Rémy's extraordinary singing talent and begins to nurture it, wanting to protect and develop this fragile gift. As Rémy grows older, he gradually becomes curious about his past, and a mysterious lullaby flowing within him becomes an important clue for him to reclaim his origins.
