Chen Guoming (played by Wu Zhenyu) and Mo Xinyi (played by Zhu Yin) are a married couple, deeply in love during their honeymoon phase. An accident occurs in which Xinyi is shot in the head and rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, fortunately surviving the ordeal. However, after finally waking up from a long coma, Xinyi begins to experience various strange hallucinations, and what’s more bizarre is that the woman who dies in her hallucinations is actually murdered in reality. Gu Xinyi is admitted to a psychiatric ward, while Guoming, a police officer, is busy investigating a murder case filled with doubts. During the investigation at the crime scene, Guoming is shocked to discover the victim seemingly comes back to life. After sending the victim to the hospital, the medical staff informs Guoming that the victim urgently needs a blood transfusion, but his blood type is extremely rare. Coincidentally, Xinyi has the same blood type as the victim. Guoming heads to his wife’s hospital room, but at a critical moment, Xinyi mysteriously disappears.
