On a rainy night, in Shenzhen, a prostitute named Siqin Aier is brutally strangled by a female fugitive, Ye Xiaoyan (played by Wu Qianlian), who aims to obtain Aier's identity. Xiaoyan disguises herself as Aier and successfully passes through customs to arrive in Hong Kong. After reporting her ID as lost, Xiaoyan successfully assumes Aier's identity. Aier originally had a Hong Kong husband who helped her gain resident status, and at this moment, her husband is anxiously waiting for her arrival. Xiaoyan chooses a client, Chen Qiming (played by Li Yaoqiang), who is a taxi driver. After his divorce, he rarely checks in on his daughter, who is being raised by his mother. Xiaoyan first cripples Qiming and then sneaks into his home to imprison him, demanding details about his background. Unexpectedly, Qiming's mother comes to visit, and the ruthless Xiaoyan kills her as part of her plan, additionally deceiving Qiming's daughter.
