Bill (Ralph Macchio) and Stan (Mitchell Whitfield) are a pair of misfits who are driving to school. This journey is destined to be anything but smooth, as they accidentally find themselves accused of murder. With the trial date approaching, Bill and Stan seek the help of a newly graduated, amateur lawyer named Vincent (Joe Pesci) to defend them. To their shock, Vincent's outrageous behavior in court not only fails to clear their names but also lands him in jail for "contempt of court." After facing such a setback, Vincent becomes disheartened, and his defense skills decline significantly. After many twists and turns, Bill and Stan finally manage to clear their names and regain their freedom, but they know that as long as Vincent is around, their misfortune will continue.
