Countess Elizabeth (played by Delphine Seyrig) is a vampire who has lived for over a thousand years. Accompanied by her female secretary, the two travel across various countries in Europe, tasting the fresh blood of young girls from different places. Although vampires do not die from aging, Elizabeth begins to feel a sense of exhaustion over time, especially with her secretary constantly being difficult. Deciding to find a brand-new young body for herself, Elizabeth quickly sets her sights on a couple residing in a hotel in Oudenarde. The wife (played by Danielle Ouimet) plans to leave her husband (played by John Karlen) after discovering his strange and frightening quirks. Will the carefully devised plan of the Countess go smoothly?
