In 3067 B.C., the Scorpion King (“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson) leads an army in an attempt to conquer the world, but his ambitions are thwarted in a seven-year campaign. His remaining troops enter the sacred Amsetsu Desert, where the harsh conditions cause the once valiant warriors to perish one after another. Facing death, the Scorpion King offers his soul to Anubis, the god of death, in hopes of defeating his enemies. Following this, the Scorpion King and the undead army from hell become unstoppable, achieving great victories before they return to slumber underground. In 1933 Egypt, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) return to the site with their son Alex (Freddie Boath) and discover the Scorpion King's bracelet. Meanwhile, another mysterious organization finds the body of the evil Pharaoh Imhotep; they need the bracelet to resurrect Imhotep. A battle between good and evil for the bracelet ensues, forcing the O'Connells to face a new round of fantastic adventures…
