"The Bride" (Uma Thurman) continues her unfinished revenge journey from the previous installment. She learns that Bill's former bodyguard, "California Mountain Snake," has retired and is living in Austin, Texas. When she secretly sneaks to the trailer where "California Mountain Snake" resides at night, she is ambushed and shot in the chest by "California Mountain Snake" and is then sedated. "California Mountain Snake" buries "The Bride" in a coffin. At this moment, "The Bride" wakes up and employs the skills taught by her master, Pai Mei, to escape from the coffin. When she returns to the trailer, she discovers that "California Mountain Snake" is in a deal with another target, "California Snake," for the sword she carries. During the fight, "California Snake" releases a viper that kills "California Mountain Snake." Finally, "The Bride" meets Bill and uncovers the truth behind the massacre of her entire family.
