A peaceful and harmonious day in Monstropolis. Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal), the adorable little green one-eyed monster, has upgraded to a super advanced, fully automated six-wheel drive car. Unable to contain his excitement, he first invites his good friend Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) to take a look and go for a ride. Sulley's clumsy behavior inside the car annoys Mike, who forbids him from touching any buttons, yet Mike himself clearly hasn't mastered all the controls. As a result, after much effort, the car doesn't start, and poor Mike faces one misadventure after another. What was meant to be a showcase of joy turns into a source of embarrassment...
