In September 1990, on the eve of the Beijing Asian Games, over a hundred students from Dayushu Primary School were anxiously training for the group gymnastics performance at the opening ceremony. One of them, An Jianjun (played by Zhang Meng), was disqualified from participating due to always being a step behind, and along with him, several of his friends were also disqualified.
