This is a silhouette animation composed of six "bedtime stories." Under the night sky, an old man, a boy, and a girl gather together—one is responsible for art, one designs costumes, and one writes the plot—thus giving birth to a series of marvelous stories. "The Werewolf's Story" tells of a prince who transforms into a wolf on a full moon night and the two princesses involved; "Di Zhong and the Unknown Beauty" recounts the adventures of Di Zhong who unintentionally enters the realm of death; "The Chosen One of Golden City" is about a young warrior fighting against the guardian god of the Golden City; "The Drumming Boy" tells the tale of a boy who loves to drum and his encounter with a divine drum; "The Boy Who Never Lies" is about a king who has a talking horse, and even more astonishingly, the boy who takes care of the horse never tells a lie, leading to a bet between two kings on whether the boy can be made to lie; "The Girl Transformed into a Deer and the Architect's Son" narrates the love story between the architect's son and a girl who is turned into a timid deer by a monster, prompting the boy to embark on an adventurous journey...
