Anthropologist Steven Cale (Eric Stoltz) becomes very interested in the Shuar, and along with documentary director Terry Flores (Jennifer Lopez), he assembles a seven-member film crew to shoot a documentary about this mysterious tribe. On their journey, they rescue a man named Paul Sarone (Jon Voight), who volunteers to guide the crew in search of the Shuar, unaware that this man’s true purpose is to hunt a terrifying, man-eating giant anaconda. Unbeknownst to Steven and the others, they embark on a bloody path of no return...
