On the busy streets of Paris, a law student passes by the art student, Hélène, every evening, captivated by her beauty. One day, he gets the chance to flirt with her, believing that they could develop something the next day. However, he does not see Hélène again. To encounter her once more, he gives up dinner and instead walks back and forth on the street where they met three times. To pass the time, he enters a bakery to buy croissants, and from then on, he does this every day, feeling that the girl from the bakery shows interest in him. His male nature compels him to flirt with her, even though he knows she is not really his type. Three weeks later, he invites her to dinner, but just then, Hélène appears—his goddess and the girl from the bakery; which will he choose?
