The story takes place in an unnamed lake where a series of death incidents have recently occurred near the shore. The crime scenes are gruesome and horrifying, with extremely brutal methods used. By analyzing some remaining images and evidence, it is not difficult to conclude that the attacker is not human, but rather some kind of beast hidden at the bottom of the lake. Tavish (Scott Adkins) is an expert in studying mysterious monsters. To uncover the true identity of the killer, people turn to Tavish. He informs them that the culprit is a prehistoric monster with a cruel and vicious nature that delights in attacking humans. To protect humanity and eliminate the monster, they bring in the wise and powerful monster hunter, Hack (Dolph Lundgren). Can Tavish and Hack join forces to successfully eradicate the prehistoric monster?
