The story takes place during World War II. As radio communications have become insecure, the British military begins training messenger pigeons to communicate with the French underground resistance and the Allies. A wild pigeon named "Valiant" sees so many of its kind serving the country and is eager to join. Thus, "Valiant" tries every possible way to mingle with the military pigeons, but it feels somewhat out of its depth compared to the trained pigeons. By coincidence, "Valiant" receives the most serious mission of World War II: to deliver vital information about the Normandy landing to the Allies. Can "Valiant" successfully complete the mission against the fierce military falcons of the enemy?
