Ayano Mishima (played by Tomomi Itano), an assistant director at a television station, receives a notice one night to report on a death incident. She heads to the scene alone with her equipment and witnesses the brutal and mysterious death of university student Yutaro Shirokane. Afterwards, Ayano becomes quite intrigued by the incident and learns from her colleagues at the station that there are suspicious details surrounding the young man's body. Subsequently, Ayano meets the deceased's clubmate, Seika Iwato (played by Mari Iirai), who claims that Yutaro fell victim to the curse of the Peering Eyes, leading to his demise. It turns out Yutaro and Seika had ventured to a remote mountain village to test their courage, where they accidentally entered a shrine and invoked the ever-present Peering Eyes, resulting in a string of misfortunes.
To uncover the truth, Ayano and her boyfriend decide to investigate locally, drawing closer to a terrifying mire...
