Scientist Ben (Zach Galifianakis) works for a secret government agency that uses high-tech methods to train guinea pigs to speak and think, turning them into secret agents. However, Ben's department faces closure by the FBI, and to prove his and the guinea pigs’ abilities, he orders the team leader Darwin (voiced by Sam Rockwell) to infiltrate the office of Ronald Cyber (Bill Nighy), the CEO of Cyber-Lin Industries, to find evidence of Ronald selling high-tech chips for military use to Middle Eastern countries. Without delay, Darwin springs into action with members like Blaster (voiced by Tracy Morgan), Juarez (voiced by Penélope Cruz), fly Mouce, and Speckles (voiced by Nicolas Cage).
