Former student He Zifeng (Cao Youning) brings four university classmates to revisit his soon-to-be-closed alma mater, Dehuang College. This institution was once occupied by the Japanese army as a military laboratory and has been the site of many terrifying supernatural events over the years. Principal Luo (Yuan Xiangren) and Teacher Fang (Xiao Xun) take them on a tour around the campus, explaining its history. When they arrive at the campus museum and see the wartime Japanese army documents, they feel an overwhelming excitement. They come across an old diary among historical publications that records various supernatural events encountered by past students, including a mysterious disappearance of a student. What secrets are hidden within? Will they also experience similar supernatural occurrences?
