Luligo Diaz is the kind of person destined to be a hero: single, charming, empathetic, and fiercely loyal. He was born noble, the son of a noble family from Castile (an ancient kingdom in northern Spain), and was regarded as a son by King Fernando. He grew up in the royal palace, receiving strict training alongside the princes. Everyone believed this young man had limitless potential. He shared a deep friendship with the king's eldest son, the royal heir Sancho, and had a beautiful lover named Gimena, although Gimena's father, the Count of Gomaz, fervently opposed their relationship, but this did not hinder the couple's sweet meetings. Unfortunately, sweetness was never the theme of court life. After the old King Fernando I passed away, Luligo quickly found himself embroiled in a carefully orchestrated coup. The plot succeeded, and his friend Sancho met his demise, while his brother Prince Alfonso ascended the throne as the new king. Luligo became enemies with the new king and eventually faced false accusations, leading to his exile from Castile. Overnight, he lost everything: his friend, his lover, and his glory. Luligo left his hometown and arrived in the barren land of Burgos. However, with the company of his loyal followers and the help of the Arab prince Mutami, his life in exile soon transformed into an unforgettable adventure. He reclaimed lost lands for his country, quelled rebellions, and conquered the formidable enemy Ben Yussuff, who had vowed to monopolize the Iberian Peninsula and bore a grudge against the new king. Ultimately, Luligo was recalled to the royal palace, and all of his former glory returned, while his stories of friendship, love, and honor became legendary.
