Princess Han Yang of Southern Tang (played by Chen Jiamin) dies with resentment and transforms into a demon using the body of the most beautiful woman in Jiangnan, Xi Men Yan (played by Xu Qianjing), to allure men and absorb their yang energy, hoping to cultivate into an immortal. By chance, scholar Wang Ziyu (played by Ding Huiyu) encounters the female demon and, unable to resist her temptation, abandons his lower-status wife, Chen Ying (played by Yin Guoer). Chen Ying accidentally witnesses Xi Men Yan's true form and realizes that her husband has been enchanted by the demon, posing a threat to his life if this continues. Therefore, she invites the exorcist Daoist Cheng Weng (played by Ye Hao) and his apprentice Xiao Baozi (played by Liu Xiaoqi), hoping they can defeat the demon and rescue her husband from his peril.
