A classic Disney animated film based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Cinderella." The early death of her mother deprives Cinderella of the warmth of maternal love, and she loses her princess-like childhood. Her stepmother and two stepsisters spare no effort in tormenting Cinderella, subjecting her to a terrible living situation and endless chores. Fortunately, kindness brings companionship; kind-hearted Cinderella makes a host of friends, with mice, birds, and a little dog as her loyal companions. The prince is searching the entire city for his princess. Cinderella quickly makes a dress out of worn-out scraps, which, of course, pales in comparison to her sisters' extravagant outfits. However, with the help of magic, she becomes stunningly beautiful, arriving at the prince's palace in a pumpkin carriage and dancing elegantly with him. She knows the magic will disappear before midnight, and at the moment the clock strikes, she hastily flees, leaving behind a glass slipper. The infatuated prince vows to find his one true love, Cinderella, among millions of women.
